Angel Reese’s record divides internet users

With 19 rebounds (7 offensive) against the Lynx, Reese now holds the highest total acquired in a WNBA season. A real feat, especially for a simple rookie. She adds 17 points for the Sky, but other fans mainly remember the defeat. Chicago lost (6 times in a row) 74-79, with a 6/16 shooting and 6 turnovers to boot for Reese.

An accomplishment that, regardless of the critics, allows Reese to make WNBA history. No one else grabs rebounds as well as she does, although the internet is divided on the subject. Admittedly, the number of misses allowed Reese to increase that total, and that doesn’t please everyone.

It’s crazy because if she was a better finisher she wouldn’t have had half of her rebounds.
