Stephen Curry and LeBron James gave us one of the most iconic pictures of USA basketball history.
After the buzzer sounded in the Olympics final, LeBron approached Curry as both of them were caught in a frame of pumped-up jubilation facing each other.
We don’t know what was said during those moments and what went down in the locker room, so the intrigue always remains on what they exactly talk about behind the scenes.
Stephen Curry gave a hint about it during his appearance on CNBC. There’s a long time after retirement and Curry seems to be getting ready for life after basketball.
So some input from LeBron James to set up a secure life after hanging up the shoes can work magic.
Discussing that, Curry said, “For sure. Pretty much everything. I know it’s such a great opportunity to leverage the platform of basketball, you know, doors that is open in a lot of different ways and, you know, amplifying, who we’re about in our own unique ways,” when asked about whether he talked to LeBron about how to operate a production company.
Steph Curry has his own production company, Unanimous Media and the Lakers star has his with the Springhill Company.
So it’s better to gear up for life without basketball, as Curry declared, “I got at least 3 years left,” when asked about a potential retirement timeline.
“I know for him, like, he’s been a master at it for a very long time, and being in a space where this is setting up post-career, for us to be able to continue to stay in a space, whether it’s doing some broadcasting, whether it’s going deeper into shows like Mr. Throwback, which we plan on doing. I’m excited about it all,” Curry further said.
The Warriors star’s mockumentary, titled “Mr. Throwback” aired on Peacock on August 8 and will again feature on NBC on September 12, 2024, as part of their “Must See TV” era.

And speaking of an era, Klay Thompson’s exit from the Bay Area has already ended one.
But the day Curry decides to call it curtains, it will be the end of an era in the NBA, not just in the Dubs franchise.
Curry also hinted about it, apart from mentioning his contractual obligation that will keep him active at least till 2027.
Stephen Curry discusses retirement timeline days after extending Warriors stay
Stephen Curry caught the Warriors franchise and the fans off-guard after removing Dubs info from his social media bio that even left his wife, Ayesha puzzled.
Since then, an extension has been signed that will earn him a modest fee of $62 million for keeping himself with the franchise.
But all good things must come to an end and Curry knows it, we should embrace it.
Speaking about his retirement plan, Curry told the CNBC hosts, “Breaking no news on you. I got at least 3 years left. And I know, like, it’s all about not just how many years you play, but the level that you’re playing. So I feel like I have a lot left in the tank.”
“I wanna keep winning. It’s been great to represent 1 franchise for my entire career.
I’m going into year 16 now. So, yeah. At least these 3, and then we’ll take it from there,” Curry concluded.
So the Dubs nation can be assured that their heartbeat will be staying around till 2027.
But what after that? Will he retire and shift to the silver screen or is there another heartache left for the Warriors fans to endure?
