Young WNBA star Angel Reese
ESPN (DR)

Arriving this season in the WNBA, Angel Reese has already emerged as one of the league’s leading figures and has generated reactions to each of her outings on the court. Her recent revelations about her love life have not gone unnoticed either.

Even though rookie selections to the All-Star Game are less rare than in the NBA, they still represent a significant feat.

Angel Reese can therefore be proud, having joined this cast a few weeks ago for her first season in the WNBA.

However, don’t count on her to be satisfied with that, since the young Sky center wants to be very ambitious for the rest of her career.

Determined to succeed in sport, she does not want to neglect her love life. Thus, in her podcast Unapologetically Angel , she opens up about her plans on this subject:

Angel Reese: I tell everyone I want to get married around 27, and I want to have kids while continuing my career.

Angel Reese unfiltered on her unique intimate life

At only 22 years old, Reese has not yet had the chance to meet the man of her dreams. It must be said that her popularity would not make things easier for her:

Angel Reese: It’s really not easy for me because I put a lot of pressure on the other person. When I’m dating someone and I go on their social media, everyone is talking about me.

So I try to warn guys in advance, like, “You need to know what you’re getting into because this is not for the faint-hearted. People are going to send you death threats and say crazy things.”

Aware of this significant constraint, the young star also tries to adapt to that of… her large size, and has apparently found a solution:

Angel Reese: I only date athletes. I’m 6’3″ so it’s easier to find guys my size in the sports world! Maybe I should find one who works in finance and is about as tall as me. But I usually date basketball players. And since the NBA season is during the WNBA offseason, I can make it work.

That said, the Chicago player made sure to deny recent rumors that she was dating a certain… Kevin Durant :

Angel Reese: There was never anything. I don’t even know where that came from. KD has literally been my favorite player since I was a little girl, and he still is. I love his mom and her support. But yeah, that rumor is bullshit.

In addition to the sometimes toxic climate that surrounds her, Angel Reese must deal with her height in her romantic relationships. Enough to seriously complicate her task, even if she seems to be satisfied with her romances with basketball players.
