WNBA stars Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese
Indiana Fever (DR) / Chicago Sky Sentinel (DR)

In impressive form, Caitlin Clark allowed the Fever to easily dispose of Angel Reese’s Sky on Friday.

And even after finishing the debate for the rookie of the year, the leader remained very classy in the press conference.

While the Fever has been on fire for a few weeks, Caitlin Clark continues to impress observers.

She is coming off a 31-point, 12-assist game against Angel Reese’s Sky, so much so that even LeBron James spoke up to congratulate the rookie.

The playoffs are coming and I can tell you that Clark intends to make a big impact in the WNBA.

But before looking ahead to the upcoming deadlines, Internet users wanted to remind us of the essential: Clark is unofficially the rookie of the year.

She has raised her level of play for months, however, she has clearly just ended the debate with this demonstration on Angel Reese, her main competitor. But the person concerned remains classy.

Caitlin Clark gets honest about the race for rookie of the year

Rather than taking confidence in a press conference, Clark reminds above all that she wants to win matches and not take individual trophies. No question for her of making fun of her opponent, as she explains to journalists.

Caitlin Clark on Angel Reese : “Me and Angel could give you the same answer. You don’t wake up thinking about individual trophies.”

“I know a lot of you think that’s the case. I know it’s not true, even though people want it to be. Both of our teams are fighting for a playoff spot. That’s the priority. It’s very selfish to focus on an individual award. I’m sure she’ll give you the same answer. Our priority is winning games, simple as that.”

If Clarke remains very classy in her speech, not sure that she is right here.

We remember that Reese often tackled his opponent in front of the media, as well as his desire to pile up statistics rather than win matches.

We had also seen this behavior against Liberty a few weeks ago .

That’s not the answer Angel Reese would give, she would say she’s the rookie of the year without a doubt.

Rookie of the Year? Caitlin Clark won’t say no, but it’s certainly not a priority for the Fever player. For her, it’s winning above all else, including in the upcoming playoffs. And count on her to cause trouble.
