On vacation in recent weeks after a successful Olympic Games, Victor Wembanyama intends to return to form for the Spurs during the month of September.
We now know more about his upcoming projects.
A great season is shaping up for the Spurs. With the arrivals of Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes, the franchise dreams of reaching a place in the NBA playoffs, despite very tough competition in the Western Conference.
Between the Thunder, the Nuggets, the Mavericks or the Lakers to name a few, almost all franchises dream of the postseason.
Not easy for Gregg Popovich’s men, who nevertheless have a major advantage: Victor Wembanyama. After a historic and successful rookie season, the Frenchman returns with the firm intention of causing a little more trouble.
There is talk of a possible DPOY title after Rudy Gobert, and probably a place in the All-Star Game in February.
Victor Wembanyama already back
The only downside to this return? The player’s health.
After having had his first NBA campaign with 70 games and the Olympic Games, the player could be a little short for the September training camp.
We know that the Spurs medical staff is monitoring this but according to journalist Maxime Aubin, that doesn’t prevent Wemby from already being back.

After a bit of rest following the Olympic Games, Wembanyama is back in the gym.
He will have to get back into the rhythm physically and, if possible, work on certain elements of his game to have an exceptional sophomore season. In any case, the start of the school year is here.
Looking forward to a huge sophomore season
Victor Wembanyama’s vacation is well and truly over.
He took a few weeks off to decompress and recover, but now he’s back with the desire to terrorize the competition.
The entire NBA can fear the worst.
