La légende NBA Chris Bosh (gauche) et l'intérieur français Victor Wembanyama (droite)

Named an All-Star eleven times in his career, Chris Bosh was also one of the precursors of the “stretch bigs” that are proliferating today in the NBA.

Enough to consider him as a source of inspiration for Victor Wembanyama, about whom he spoke.

In all likelihood, his record could have been even more impressive if it weren’t for the health problems that forced him to end his career.

Chris Bosh nevertheless had to hang up his sneakers at only 31 years old and had not been seen on the court since 2016.

However, he has just made his big comeback as part of the jubilee of his former Heat teammate, Goran Dragic:

Chris Bosh: I have followed what Wembanyama has done over the last two years. I try to keep up with basketball news and people have been talking about him since he was 16 or 17 years old.

He is talented and obviously has a lot of scope.

Chris Bosh: There were two very different versions of me: the Toronto version and the Miami version.

I was a little more aggressive in Toronto and during my first years in Miami.

Now, people know me more for my shooting skills and my pick-and-pops, but I was more aggressive and I went to the basket more often before.

I don’t think anyone plays like me right now in the league.

Like many other icons of the league, Chris Bosh does not mince words about Victor Wembanyama, whom he describes as a generational talent.

On the other hand, there is no question of him making him his designated successor despite their similarities.
