Thanks to a new shower of rebounds this Sunday, Angel Reese set a new record in the history of the WNBA.
Unfortunately, no victory at the end and Internet users are rather divided on the subject. Her case continues to be debated.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are definitely changing the face of the WNBA. The league has seen a real boost this season in terms of visibility, hoping that this will continue in the years to come.
Clark is stringing together records with the Fever, but Reese is not far behind either, as proven by her latest feat this Sunday.
Angel Reese’s record divides Internet users
Thanks to 19 rebounds (7 offensive) captured against the Lynx, Reese now holds the highest total acquired in a WNBA season. A real feat, especially for a simple rookie.
She added 17 points for the Sky, but other fans mainly remember the defeat. Chicago lost (6 times in a row) 74-79, with a 6/16 shooting and 6 turnovers to boot for Reese.

“Angel Reese set the all-time WNBA record for most rebounds in a single season.”
A feat that, regardless of the critics, allows Reese to make WNBA history. No one else grabs rebounds as well as she does, although the internet is divided on the subject.
Admittedly, the number of misses allowed Reese to increase this total, and that doesn’t please everyone.
It’s crazy because if she was a better finisher she wouldn’t have had half of her rebounds.
Most of the rebounds come from her own missed layups, it’s not a record
Angel Reese has set a big mark in rebounding, which will clearly not be easy to beat in the future.
But her case divides the fans, aware that her low shooting percentage helps a lot. It’s far from over for the Sky player.
