EastEnders’ Charlie Brooks wowed fans of Dancing on Ice with her impressive routines on the show – but the actress is reportedly suffering from ‘heartbreak’.

EastEnders legend Charlie Brooks is dealing with heartbreak amidst her Dancing On Ice journey after parting ways with her boyfriend James Fuller.
A the end of last year, fans were overjoyed when it was revealed that Charlie had found love with advertising producer. The 43-year-old soap star, best known for her role as Janine Butcher on BBC’s EastEnders, subtly announced their relationship by sharing pictures of them together on social media.
Their romance quickly blossomed while Charlie was already deep into her Dancing On Ice training, and she captioned the shared images: “Shooting, skating and puppy love… That’s a wrap!”

Fans were thrilled to see the actress flaunting a radiant smile as she posed with James, who has worked on adverts for brands like Coca-Cola and Durex. One fan commented: “Love the pics, so much love and fun in those photos.”

However, it seems as though the couple have now ended their relationship as Charlie’s focus has been consumed by the ITV reality show.
A source told The Sun: “They’re still really close but she wanted to concentrate on Dancing On Ice. It’s very demanding and she’s training six days a week.
“It’s hard to keep a romantic relationship going with all the hard work she’s putting in but they’re still best friends.” Express.co.uk has reached out to the star’s representative for comment.
The Daily Mail had previously revealed that Charlie and James had been secretly dating for months before they finally decided to go public with their relationship. This marks Charlie’s first public romance since her break up with ex-boyfriend, Ben Hollington.

The soap star and Ben called it quits back in 2018 after a six-year-long love affair. Prior to this, she was involved with Ibiza club owner Tony Truman, whom she parted ways with in 2007. Together, they have a 20-year-old daughter named Kiki.
Over the past weekend, Dancing On Ice viewers were touched when Charlie dedicated her performance to her daughter – who was watching from the sidelines of the rink.
She chose the hit song Someone Like You by Adele to skate to, as it is a favourite of her daughter’s. A video clip showed Charlie sharing footage of a young Kiki singing the song alongside her skating partner Eric Radford.
After witnessing her mum’s performance on the ice, an emotional Kiki couldn’t hold back her tears as she expressed her pride from the stands.

Last year, Charlie appeared on Loose Women where she explained her reasons for participating in the risky winter sport reality show – which sees celebrities competing on the ice for a trophy.
With a laugh, Charlie said: “I’m going to embrace the spray tan. All I want to do is enjoy it and try not to break my leg.” The actress opened up about her childhood ice skating experiences on the daytime panel show, admitting her uncertainty about her abilities.
She told viewers: “I’ve skated when I was a kid and with mulled wine at Christmas. Until I get on the ice, I have no idea how I’m going to be. I’m not that strong. I’m not competitive, but it might come out in me and I want to have fun and not get injured.”
