Tasha Ghouri suffered a technical error on Strictly
Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri has revealed she suffered a major technical error during Musical’s Week.
Last week on the BBC One dance competition, the six remaining couples danced their hearts out for the final themed week of the show.
The cast embodied some of their favourite characters from the spell-binding shows, including Mary Poppins and Glinda the Good Witch.
But viewers were shocked by the results of the public on Sunday night (December 1), which saw Pete Wicks and his partner Jowita Przystal soaring through to the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, the former Love Island star and Ajlaz Skorjanec – who frequently top the leaderboard – ended up in the dreaded dance off with Olympic athlete Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe.

The reality star performed the tango to Ex-Wives from the musical SIX which scored an impressive 38 points, whereas Montell performed the rumba to I’m Here from The Colour Purple which achieved 32 points out of 40.
Now, the blonde bombshell has revealed that she suffered a mortifying blunder during the live show which forced her to heavily rely on her co-star more than ever.
Taking to Instagram on Monday (December 2), Tasha revealed that her cochlear implant fell off halfway through the performance, leaving her unable to hear for a portion of the routine.
In a lengthy post, she wrote: “Being in the dance off was heartbreaking especially when it was with two beautiful people I adore inside and out. Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe you two dances so beautifully and every week you shined [white heart emoji].
The Love Island star urged fans to “never give up”
“I always say you overcome obstacles for a reason to come back stronger. My magnet fell off which holds the outer piece of my CI [cochlear implant] separate halfway through the dance which meant I could not hear for a few seconds & I relied on Aljaz more than ever.”
“Luckily in the back bend it went back on, it threw me off which I was gutted about but the show had to go on.” The starlet went on to encourage fans to “never give up”.
She went on: “I’m proud that I carried on and didn’t let it stop me. I hope this sent a strong message to never give up and to keep going, that is my journey and I’m proud [crown emoji, purple emoji].
“There will be knock backs but I always stay positive and look forward with a smile on my face. Each week I’m growing, evolving and learning! Since week 1, I’ve seen such improvement and I still want to keep going, my heart is so in this and has been since day one [glitter emoji].
“Aljaz Skorjanec I meant what I said that every dance I get to do with you is an honour, so to dance that one with you again was for the heart and us. Semi-finals, let’s get it [white heart emoji].”
It didn’t take long before fans flooded to the comments to congratulate her for powering through on the show. One user penned: “You are incredible. Sunday’s favourite. Keep dancing. An absolute pro [heart emoji].”
Another agreed: “My girl!! Keep shining [glitter emoji] can we deep that your in the SEMI FINALS PLEASE!!!!! [applause emoji, praise emoji, heart emoji] so, so proud of you! Let’s get ittttttt.”
A third echoed: “Goes to show how tough the competition and tense it’s getting! Proud of you always and always rooting for you! You didn’t deserve to be there, but you always grace the dance floor and you were so powerful!!!!! [three fire emojis].”
