Strictly Come Dancing viewers were all left saying the same thing as the winners of the 2024 series were revealed on Saturday night
Strictly Come Dancing fans were united in their reaction as the winners of the 2024 series were announced on Saturday night.
The final four couples graced the dance floor for the last time on December 14, vying for the approval of judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke, as well as the audience at home.
Yet, only one pair could claim victory, and it was Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell who triumphantly lifted the coveted glitterball trophy.
As hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkelman revealed the champions, viewers took to X, previously known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.
One fan wrote: “So happy for Chris and Dianne. He’s an inspiration for everyone and Dianne has been amazing with how she has been able to teach him. They both deserve this so much #Strictly.” Another added: “YESSSS! Best winners ever! I am sobbing.”

A third agreed: “OMG I am so happy for Chris and Dianne such worthy winners, they are amazing! The best Strictly final, I’m in bits here.”, reports the Mirror.
A fourth added: “Honestly one of the best Strictly finales in years – incredibly moving performances all round and the sheer passion is electric.”
Meanwhile, former The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks was absent from the final after losing to Tasha in the previous weekend’s dance-off.
Fans have branded the pair “best winners ever”
Reflecting on the whirlwind experience with host Tess, Pete admitted: “It’s been wild. I’ve been quite honest about the fact that I didn’t necessarily want to do this [Strictly] in the first place, but everyone else wanted me to do it, and I am so, so glad that I did it!”
He continued with a nugget of wisdom for viewers, saying: “You don’t always have to be the best, but if you enjoy something then why shouldn’t you have a go at it? I’ve tried my best from day one, I said I was in for a penny, in for a pound and I’ve done it, it’s been beautiful.”
