Phillip Schofield laughed with his daughter Molly and pal Scott Brown as they enjoyed an al fresco lunch at the Ham Yard Hotel in London on Thursday.

The presenter, 62, put on an animated display as he chatted to Scott, who is the Executive Director at Breakthrough Media Network Ltd and a long-time friend of Phillip, and daughter Molly May, 31,

Phillip was still wearing his wedding ring, four years after separating from his wife Stephanie.

The couple separated in 2020 after he came out as gay, but she continued to stand by him and they did not legally divorce.

It was reported Stephanie has not filed for divorce because ‘she still loves him’ and is his ‘support system’.

The presenter left ITV under a huge cloud in May 2023, after admitting that he had an affair with a younger colleague on the show.

He turned to his closest friends and family for support during the turbulent time.

Phillip was wearing a teal hoodie as he let out a  hefty cackle while out with his friend Scott, who sported a similarly-coloured light-blue sweatshirt.

Meanwhile Molly kept it simple in a black sweater, which she paired with huge sunglasses.

In May last year, Phillip admitted to having a relationship with a much younger man who worked with him on This Morning, and later lying about it.

He described their romance as ‘unwise but not illegal’ and explained it took place during his nearly 30-year marriage.

Phillip resigned from both This Morning and ITV and said that he was ‘so very sorry’ to Steph for being unfaithful.

At the time, it was reported that Steph had been left ‘devastated’ by the revelation and angry that her husband had lied to her.

However, it was later revealed she is choosing not to file for divorce because she does not want him to ‘fall any further’ then he already has, and despite everything, ‘the love is still very much there.’

Phillip’s reported comeback has appeared to be gathering steam, with many stars showing their support for the disgraced presenter through his array of Instagram posts.

ITV was thrown into turmoil earlier this year following Philip’s admission to an ‘unwise but not illegal’ relationship with a much younger colleague, with the host eventually stepping down from ITV altogether.

As well as the breakdown of his career, Phillip’s relationship with co-host Holly Willoughby faltered in the midst of the scandal, with it being heavily reported that the two were at loggerheads.

While Phillip took a significant break from the public eye in the wake of the scandal, in May he made a return to Instagram with posts featuring his dog Alfie.

Stars including Richard E Grant, Rylan Clark and Kate Garraway have shared their support for Phillip through various ‘likes’ and comments underneath his posts.

His most recent post featured a snap of his dog with the caption: ‘Wet through with Uggs on.’

While comments on his post had been limited, one came from Richard, who posted a row of heart emojis.

Another video, posted on Friday, showed Phillip’s dog messing around under a bed sheet, with This Morning consumer expert Alice Beer commenting: ‘He is such a clown.’

Rylan was also among the thousands to like Phillip’s snap that he shared last week, while Kate Garraway also liked the star’s post on July 14, ahead of England’s Euro 2024 final against Spain.
