Strictly Come Dancing’s Pete Wicks has been hit with a fresh blow ahead of the semi-final as bookies claim the star may be eliminated from the competition on the weekend.
The TV personality, 37, who is well known for appearing on ITV reality show The Only Way is Essex, has been impressing the judges and viewers at home with his dance moves since joining the BBC hit show alongside professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.
Last weekend the duo were seen taking to the dance floor yet again for the quarter-final, however Pete and Jowita were left disappointed as it was clear that it wasn’t their greatest night in the ballroom.
Despite getting the lowest score of the night, the duo managed to avoid the dreaded dance-off and sailed through to the next round. Viewers tuning into the show on Saturday night (December 7) will see the remaining five couples go all out and perform two dances each in hopes of making it to the final of the competition.

The pair have been hard at work in rehearsals for the upcoming semi-final and Strictly fans will see them perform an Argentine Tango to Bittersweet by Symphony The Verve as well as a Foxtrot to Beyond The Sea by Bobby Darin.
However it doesn’t look good for the stars as bookies say that the former Towie star is the odds-on favourite at 4-7 to miss out on the final as he tops this betting for this weekend’s elimination. JB Gill is 7-4 to depart, while Tasha Ghouri is 16-1 to exit following the semi-final.
In the outright market for the Glitterball Trophy, Chris McCausland is the long odds-on favourite at 1-5, Sarah Hadland can be backed at 7-1, while Tasha Ghouri is 12-1.

Caral’s John Hill said: “Nobody wants to miss out on a place in the final, but our betting suggests Pete Wicks is the most likely to be eliminated this weekend.”
He added: “Chris McCausland remains on course to lift the Glitterball Trophy. The comedian is long odds-on in our outright betting, with Sarah Hadland second best behind him.”
