I’m A Celebrity 2024 viewers saw yet another Bushtucker Trial disaster on Wednesday night, as Dean McCullough and GK Barry failed to win a single star for camp

Things went from bad to worse for I’m A Celebrity’s Dean McCullough on Wednesday night, as he fumbled yet another trial – with Ant McPartlin “fuming” according to fans.

It wasn’t all down to Dean though, as this time he had equally terrified GK Barry on hand. But as the pair took on Drown in the Dumps, it all went sour as they failed to secure a single star for camp.

A day on from radio DJ Dean quitting a Bushtucker Trial moments in, this time he did manage to make it all the way until the end. He did worse off though alongside GK, as time ran out and stunned hosts Ant and Dec Donnelly were forced to declare they had won no meals for camp.

GK said: “I have no words,” and viewers no doubt echoed this as they saw the pair unable to get a single star. The pair admitted they were “mortified” as they were faced with the prospect of having to tell their fellow campmates what had happened.

Ant and Dec were shown losing their cool as time went on, and every time Grace failed to get a star. Ant was seen shouting out and pulling faces, as Dec also looked awkward.

It all kicked off when the pair learned from Ant and Dec that they’d be placed in a tank each, one on top of the other. The person in the top tank, Dean, had to rummage through hell holes to find keys, which had gold tags attached.

These keys then had to be dropped down the pipe, into the bottom tank where GK was placed. GK was tasked with unlocking the 10 stars on offer while there were also silver keys that were duds, as they would not open a single lock.

As the trial went on water flowed through the top tank and into the bottom, filling up the sections. GK ended up dropping keys, and failed to open the locks as the time ticked by.

GK face her fear of water as she had to dive down to attempt to unlock one of the padlocks. None of the locks seemed to open and soon enough, Ant and Dec declared time was up.

Joined by an eel, something GK previously admitted she wasn’t a fan of, she let out a scream and declared she was “done”. With that the trial was over, and they learned they would return to camp empty handed. GK confessed: “I’m mortified to go back and tell them.”

But fans were quick to comment on what went on with Ant during the trial, with many posting about his “disappointment” and him “losing his cool”. Taking to X, one fan posted: “Ant is fuming! They’re wasting everyone’s time and money.”

Another said: “Ant and Dec losing their cool and being savage with the contestants never gets old.” A third added: “My fave part of I’m a celeb is when Ant and Dec are clearly getting p***ed off at whoever is doing the bush tucker trials because they’re being ridiculous,” as a fourth wrote: “Ant looks like a disappointed teacher waiting for his class to stop talking.”
