Les superstars NBA des Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green (gauche) et Stephen Curry (droite)

Absent from the playoffs last season, the Warriors intend to return despite the loss of Klay Thompson.

To do so, they would have notably checked off the name of a player who was able to stand out in a very beautiful way during the Paris Olympic Games.

Until now, their offseason record has been disappointing for many observers who had higher expectations for them.

It must be said that coming out of a season that ended during the Play-In Tournament, the Warriors had to strengthen.

However, as it stands, they no longer even appear as contenders for a league legend. New recruits would therefore be welcome.

The Warriors seduced by a player very prominent at the Paris Olympics?

While interesting free agents are now rare on the market, the Olympic Games have allowed some of them to be highlighted.

Thanks to his performances in the French team, Guerschon Yabusele has for example been coveted by several franchises. Golden State’s front office is reportedly interested in Bruno Caboclo’s profile, as reported by the Brazilian’s agent to Sports Channel:

Daniel Hazan: Bruno will train with the Golden State Warriors until Thursday with the goal of signing a contract, and he thinks he can do it.

At 28, Caboclo has solid experience, including in the NBA where he has already played 105 games in seven seasons.

However, this relatively anonymous stint in the league has been offset by his great performances this summer with Brazil at the Olympics.

The only player to have recorded several 30-point games during the tournament, he was particularly good in the quarterfinal against Team USA. And yet, his profile seems to be struggling to gain consensus among American Dubs fans:

Let’s sign it as soon as possible

Very talented player but his game is more that of a star, or at least an important player of a team.

He is not a role player and will certainly not be more than that in the NBA. Good player but I would not sign him.

Offensive leader of Brazil at the Paris Olympic Games, Bruno Caboclo notably showed his qualities as a scorer and his 3-point shooting. Enough to pique the curiosity of the Warriors, who could offer him a contract in the event of a conclusive workout.
