The Love Island: All Stars countdown is on after host Maya Jama touched down in Cape Town as rumours swirl with big names linked with the winter series in South Africa.
The show will see contestants from previous series return to the ITV villa for a second chance at finding romance, with the likes of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Paige Thorne both rumoured to have signed up. The first star has been confirmed as series five’s India Reynold after she was spotted at the airport.
Maya is there early too and took to Instagram to captured her arrival as she travelled in the back of a car following the long flight. There’s not long to go and the second edition of the reality series spin-off is set to grace our screens on January 13 at 9pm.
Rumours had suggested Maya was set to leave the show, but ITV have firmly denied the claim and revealed they have no plans for a presenter change. There’s certainly no regrets as she showed off her breakfast as she enjoyed the warm weather before getting down to work.

She’s just been to Ibiza and has reportedly be dating professional footballer Rúben Dias since last month. They were first seen together in public after having a cosy New Year’s Eve date. Maya, 30, and Rúben, 27, met each other at the MTV Europe Music Awards at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester on November 10, just a few months after her split from Stormzy.
Rúben has now appeared to confirm their romance after posting a photo of them together watching a sunset. The football star wore a hoody and trousers as he wrapped his arm around a woman wearing a skirt and trainers. Their backs were to the camera, so the woman’s identity was concealed.
There could be another football she’s keeping an eye on – Non-League player Ronnie Vint. The 28-year-old is set to head back into the villa just months after his search for love in 2024. He could be joined by Luca Bish, Olivia Hawkins and Curtis Pritchard – who famously told ex-girlfriend Amy Hart he hoped to be the person to cheer Islanders up in the morning.
Ronnie was spotted by a fellow passenger on board a flight to South Africa, in an image obtained by The Sun. He looked lowkey in a hoodie and a backwards cap, and kept his head down as he listened to music through his AirPods. The flight is said to have been taking him to Love Island All Stars, where past contestants have a second chance at pairing up.
Alongside the image, a source claimed that while Ronnie wasn’t able to find his forever love in the villa last summer, he’s trying again. “Ronnie was a breakout star of Love Island last summer and while his hopes of finding love may not have worked out, he fancies a second shot in the villa,” they said.
