A post from Bleacher Report even hinted she might be taking a “tour” of the league, cheering on different teams each week.

But could there be another reason for her NFL appearances? Reese, however, was quick to clear things up. In response to the Bleacher Report post, she explained, “I’m from Baltimore but I live in Chicago, this ain’t no tour sorry!” Apparently, her allegiances aren’t as fickle as some might think; it’s just a matter of supporting both her roots and her current city.

The 22-year-old broke Parker’s consecutive double-doubles record as a rookie and finished with season averages of 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds across 34 games — and with the Sky projected to have the second-most cap space in the WNBA as it expands to 13 teams next year, Reese and fellow rookie Kamilla Cardoso can help usher in a new era of star power in Chi-town.
