ITV This Morning fans fume show staple ‘NEEDS TO BE CANCELLED’ after OBVIOUS BLUNDER!

This Morning fans couldn’t help but shake their heads as Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley delivered a disappointing instalment of their morning segment Spin to Win.

This Morning fans were left up in arms after Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard delivered a disappointing instalment of their once-popular morning segment, Spin to Win.

During Tuesday’s visit (January 8) to the ITV studios, the dynamic duo returned to the helm and discussed some of the biggest stories hitting the headlines.

This included the horrific wildfires that have torn through Los Angeles and the debate about whether or not to resell or regift unwanted Christmas presents.

Later on in the show, the pair moved on to the game show segment Spin to Win which allows viewers to win some extra cash so long as they answer the phone with the passcode revealed earlier on in the show.

But this week’s instalment took a turn for the worst when three callers failed to answer their phones in time and the other three participants failed to give the correct answer.

With no one to play, the pair decided to spin the wheel of prizes anyway and add on the winnings to tomorrow morning’s bundle. Cat excitedly spun the wheel, which added £750 to the prize pot for tomorrow morning’s show.

It didn’t take long before fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their complaints online. One user penned: “Spin to Win needs to be cancelled. The prizes are dire and it is def not good viewing #thismorning.”

Another asked: “Think they should get rid of spin to win and bring coin drop back at least they got an answer on that game [laughing emoji] #thismorning.” A third asked: “Why are the prizes so low for spin to win now?! #thismorning.”

Meanwhile, others were baffled as to why viewers would enter the TV competition and not follow the one rule of the game: to answer the phone using the unique passphrase.

One fan pointed out: “Baffles me the amount of people that enters Spin to Win but can’t answer the phone or answer the phone in the correct wat! If you’re going ot enter at least be ready for them to phone they literally do it between the hours of 10am-12.30pm every day [shrugging emoji] #ThisMorning.”

Another agreed: “Why do these people bother entering Spin to Win [confused emoji] #thismorning” as a third argued that the money should have been donated to “charity” rather than rolling the winnings over to the next show.
