I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! presnter Ant McPartlin has shared the real reason why he appeared frustrated with campmate Dean McCullough.

The hit ITV show hosted by Ant and Declan Donnelly has kept the nation gripped over the last two weeks.

With the final now approaching, viewers are voting for the campmate they want to see fight another day in the Aussie jungle. But for radio DJ Dean, it was the end of the road as he was forced to leave the show on Sunday night (December 1).

Dean kept viewers on the edge of their seats this series as he took on a number of gruelling Bushtucker trials. But as he displayed how petrified he was with the challenges, he often withdrew from the trial prematurely or didn’t perform too well.

Dean’s fears appeared to frustrate Ant-which was picked up by viewers on screen who called out the host for his evident annoyance towards Dean.

He said: “I was quite harsh on you. Let me explain why Dean. I was so angry at you for calling ‘I’m A Celebrity’,” as Dec added: “That was because we felt the trial was doable.”

“Then, that tough love kind of got you through. I was really proud of you at the end and that tough love got you through. By the flying challenge, you were brilliant. I knew you could do it.”

In regards to his exit, Dean appeared rather happy to leave camp.
