Since her arrival in the WNBA, Angel Reese has been one of the most exciting players to watch.
In her latest Instagram stories, Reese shared a snap of her sports magazine collection, with her face imprinted on each one.
She branded herself as “Ms. Covergirl,” with the latest magazine whose cover she has graced being Sports Illustrated.
Reese is no stranger to getting off-court promotions, whether it’s working with Reese’s chocolate candy or being the face of sports magazines.
With how she continues to carry herself in her young professional career, the promotional materials will continue to add up.
“The only issues I have, call me Ms. Covergirl,” Reese posted. “I’m missing one but more to come.”

Her rise to stardom originally started back in her days playing collegiate basketball.
She was a critical piece in delivering the 2023 NCAA Championship title to LSU after they got the better of Caitlin Clark and Iowa.
This season, Angel Reese put up 13.6 points per game (39.1% shooting) and 13.1 rebounds per game in the 34 games she played for the Chicago Sky.
She was selected seventh overall in the draft and is envisioned to be an important building piece for the Sky franchise.
Aside from the unfortunate timing of her season-ending injury, Reese has more than lived up to the expectations from her.
Angel Reese gets featured in Sports Illustrated’s ’50 Most Influential Sports Figures in Sports’ list
To be on the cover image of a Sports Illustrated magazine is an incredible accomplishment for any athlete, especially for a rookie player like Reese.
In an article by the magazine’s Kristen Nelson, she highlighted the Sky forward’s impressive rookie season and her early business moves.
“The 6-foot-3 forward has already turned in a historic season,” Nelson wrote. “She sets a league record for most consecutive double-doubles [15], became the first WNBA rookie to record back-to-back 20-rebound games.
The 22-year-old and SI October issue cover star has long parlayed her on-court success into savvy business opportunities.
“She recently paired up for a fitting candy partnership with Reese’s, released a collection with Reebok and has confirmed that she has a signature shoe on the way.”

Her collaboration with Reese’s chocolate candy and her partnership with Reebok are early signs of what’s in store for the young WNBA star. She has even released her own podcast, titled Unapologetically Angel.
Through the audio platform, Reese is able to share her opinions on various topics concerning the WNBA and her personal life.
Despite being early in her promising basketball career, getting included in the “50 Most Influential Sports Figures” is nothing to scoff at.
Similar to Caitlin Clark, she has placed the league at an important step in its journey towards the strengthening of their brand and recognition.
